Hello my beautiful princes and princesses.!! :) Welcome back to the website and also welcome to a new blog post.!! :) Today we are going to talk about how to clean up your room in a fast, easy and effective way. You might think that cleaning your room might take hours and hours, and it could, but it doesn't have to be that way. As long as you keep your room in a good condition by cleaning it just a little but often you will find that it's not as time consuming as you thought it would be.!! :) Let's begin shall we.? Enjoy.!! :)
1. The Pile of Clothes

We are all a little too familiar with the big pile of clothes building its way up on our chair or our bed and vise versa, right.? :) First things first, if your clothes are dirty remove them from your room and take them to the laundry room. You can deal with them later. If your clothes are clean, divide them into categories. For example, first category can be underwear, second shirts, third trousers etc. Then start putting your clothes into the category in which they belong, and fold them, don't start throwing clothes into their categories as it will be harder for you to store them properly later on. After you are done with folding start storing your clothes in your wardrobe. You could have your shirts on the right and your trousers on the left side, your underwear in the drawer etc. Find a clothes organisation system that works for you and stick to it, it will make your life easier.!! :) Now, the most important part is preventing the pile from happening in the first place.!! When you find a "stray" pair of socks on your chair, pick it up and store it, don't leave your clothes in random places, then throw more on top, that's how a pile happens. Prevent it by picking up your clothes and storing them right away.!! :)
Extra tip: Perhaps you noticed that I didn't mention ironing. That was on purpose. Always choose and buy clothes that do not need to be ironed, clothes made of fabric which doesn't wrinkle easily. You can still iron them if you want but if you need to hurry and have no time for that, you will still be able to wear that shirt and go go go.!! :)
2. The Bed

We are all familiar with the importance of having a clean, put together, comfy looking bed. Every morning, right after you wake up, make you sure that you make your bed. It will instantly make you feel like you accomplished something first thing in the morning, plus your room is going to look cleaner right away. If you are feeling fancy you can also add a few decorative pillows and/or stuffed animals on it, for a personal touch.
3. The Desk

If you have a desk in your bedroom, make sure you keep only the most important objects on it, since the more you have, the more you'll have to clean. Remove the objects from the desk area, give them a quick clean, spritz your desk with a multi - surface cleaner and wipe it, put the objects back on the desk and you are good to go.!! :) Extra tip: You can keep a scented candle on your desk to light up whenever you feel like it or buy an oil diffuser. Your room will smell great and fresh.!! :)
4. The Floor

The floor is one of the largest, if not the largest, surface of our bedrooms. Keeping it clean is of a great importance. If it's full of rubbish and dust it makes it hard to move around and you could potentially be tripping on random things lying on the floor. So make sure you never leave things on the floor, wipe it clean at least twice a week, vacuum and mop it often as well, your room is going to look pristine.!! :)
5. The Windows

Your windows allow you to see the "outside world" and let light and sunshine in your room. If they are dirty you won't be able to see well and it will turn your bedroom into a more gloomy and unpolished place. It will also somewhat block your view, if any. Use a window cleansing spray and some kitchen paper or a cloth to clean them. Also remove, wash and iron your curtains about once a month, as they frame the windows and impove the overall appearance of your room.!! :)
