Trending Hairstyles of 2018

Hello my beautiful princes and princesses.!! :) Welcome to another blog post, today we are going to be talking about the trending hairstyles of 2018.!! :)

Bobs and Lobs

Bobs and Lobs (Long Bobs) are the ultimate trend when it comes to hairstyles next year. Especially wavy bobs or lobs, which are very in style, will be dominating.!! :) Lobs and bobs are chic, effortless, and easy to take care of, consider them if you would like a drastic hairstyle change.!! :)

Natural Look

Natural looking, slightly wavy and texturized hair are another trend for 2018. You can apply a hair mousse to the ends of your hair and create more curls if you have naturally wavy hair, if you have naturally straight hair you can braid them, secure them with an elastic, and leave them overnight if you have the time to do so, then unbraid them in the morning, use the mousse, and you are good to go.!! :) Use a hairspray to lock them in place, or if you don't like mousses or hairsprays, don't use them at all, the curls will last for a while on their own.

Middle or Side Parting

Parting your hair in the middle or parting them on the right or left is in style for the following year. So part your hair however you like, and your hairstyle will be "in" anyway.!! :)

Low Buns

Low buns are a quick and easy hairstyle which can also be quite complicated if you want it to. It always depends on how undone and messy or tight and sophisticated you want your bun to look.!! :) Do not hesitate to try it, especially of you are having a bad hair day.!! :) 

Top Knots / High Buns

Top knots or high buns and basically the opposite of low buns, since they are created at the highest point of your head. On the same time, they have the same if not more benefits.!! :) They are just as easy to make but they stand out more than a low bun, their designs or braids or accessories you may use on them are more prominent and can be shown off better.!! :) Their level of complexity (or non complexity) is completely up to you.!! :)

Loose Curls / Beachy Waves

Loose curls and beachy waves are very impressive and not that hard to create. They are curlier than the Natural Look curls, and you can make them thick or thin using a curling wand / iron. Don't forget to use a heat protection spray or oil before you curl them, as you don't want the exrteme heat to damage your hair, and when you are done use some hairspray to lock them in place.!! :)

Pixie Cuts

Pixie cuts, those boy - like haircuts, will also be in fashion for 2018, and whether they are really short, or a little longer, they are still an edgy, statement choice.!! :) Plus they are easy to care for.!! :)

Wet Look

Wet look is here to stay everyone.!! This trend will remain stylish through 2018, in the form of sleek, glossy and straight, pulled behind the ear hair. Their shiny appearance will definitely catch the eye, and that makes them a good choice for a night out.!! :)

Braids

Braids never fail to impress with all their different variations, plaits, french braids, fishtail, dutch and so on.!! :) For some reason they remind me of village girls many many years ago, who would either collect water from the springs or braid their hair before they went to church.!! :) Braids are a classic hairstyle with many modern twists.!! :)

Low Ponytail

A low ponytail is one of the quickest and easiest hairstyles, since all you need is an elastic or a hair tie. You could use a scrunchie as well, which is also in fashion, but I wouldn't recommend that, I personally think they are a little tacky. It's also a pretty handy hairstyle, because it keeps your hair off your face, while your hair still looks pretty and put together on the back.!! :) To make them gain some extra attention, you can also use various accessories, like bows or jeweled hair clips.!! :) 

 A few more things ladies, the above hairstyles can be combined if you want to do so, you can create a braided low ponytail, or a side parting on your lob / bob for example.!! :)

 In addition, these are just the trends of 2018, if you feel comfortably with a different hairstyle, you do you girl, it's your hair and your choice to do as you please with them.!! :)
